Department of Shalya Tantra शल्य तंत्र विभाग
Shalya Tantra, a core branch of Ashtang Ayurveda, focuses on surgical and para-surgical procedures rooted in ancient Indian texts like the Sushruta Samhita. It encompasses a range of treatments for surgical diseases, injuries, and deformities using both Ayurvedic and modern surgical techniques. The department trains students in diagnosis, management, and surgical procedures, including para-surgical methods like Kshar Sutra and Agnikarma.शल्य तंत्र अष्टांग आयुर्वेद की प्रमुख शाखा है, जिसका आधार सुश्रुत संहिता जैसे प्राचीन ग्रंथों में वर्णित शल्य एवं अनुशल्य प्रक्रियाएँ हैं। इसमें शल्य रोगों, चोटों और विकृतियों के उपचार हेतु आयुर्वेदिक तथा आधुनिक शल्य तकनीकों का अध्ययन किया जाता है। विभाग विद्यार्थियों को निदान, प्रबंधन और क्षारसूत्र तथा अग्निकर्म जैसी अनुशल्य विधियों का प्रशिक्षण देता है।
