Shalya Tantra, a core branch of Ashtang Ayurveda, focuses on surgical and para-surgical procedures rooted in ancient Indian texts like the Sushruta Samhita. It encompasses a range of treatments for surgical diseases, injuries, and deformities using both Ayurvedic and modern surgical techniques. The department trains students in diagnosis, management, and surgical procedures, including para- surgical methods like Kshar Sutra and Agnikarma.
