Kayachikitsa, one of the eight branches of Ashtanga Ayurveda, translates to "treatment of the body". It's essentially the Ayurvedic equivalent of general medicine and internal medicine, with a focus on holistic healing. The department's core function is to prepare students with in-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic principles and practices for treating various physical and psychological ailments.
